Giff's Original Cranberry Pepper Relish Recipes
Grilled Reuben SandwichRussian Dressing For Grilled Reuben Sandwich
1/4 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons Giff's Original Cranberry Pepper Relish
1 tablespoon drained horseradish
2 teaspoons catsup
3 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
Combine all ingredients. Makes about 1/2 cup. Use as dressing when preparing Reuben sandwich.
Reuben Sandwich
8 slices rye or pumpernickel bread
8 slices roast turkey, ham or corned beef
1/2 cup drained sauerkraut
8 slices Swiss cheese
Dressing for Reubens (recipe above)
Softened butter On each of 4 slices of bread layer 2 slices choice of meat, 2 tablespoons sauerkraut, 2 slices Cheese. Spread remaining 4 slices bread of bread with generous layer of dressing. Place On top of filling (dressing side down). Spread outside of bread slices with light coating of Butter. Place in large skillet over medium heat. Cook turning until lightly browned on both sides and cheese is melted. Serve with additional dressing, if desired. Makes 4 sandwiches.
